The woman's alarming situation was narrated on Facebook by Maria Teresa Ong Musay, an OFW in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, last Tuesday, September 30. The story already garnered more than 9,000 likes and over 54,000 shares as of this posting.

According to Musay, she met Caferma at the Etihad Mall near the Cheeky Monkeys play room.

Musay said Caferma has been working as a domestic helper for five months in Mirdif, a residential area located in Dubai, UAE.

She is being maltreated by her Lebanese employer, Fatima Ibaba, who allegedly hits her in the head, gets jealous at her often, and deprives her food.

The OFW is desperately seeking assistance to contact her relatives in Isabela as she cannot do it herself because her employer took her cellphone away. She is also prohibited from talking to anyone.

The Filipina domestic helper said her relatives are Mary Rose Bulusan Collado and Nida Bulusan. The latter works at Orient International Labor Supply Agency, the same agency which facilitated her overseas employment.

Caferma, who is skinny as described by Musay, badly needed immediate help. The Pinay OFW is afraid she might get crazy if her employer continues to abuse her.
