According to ABS-CBN News, the NBI anti-human trafficking division received information from a tipster that the ad of the couple was posted on a popular adult website.

The online ad reportedly stated that the 37-year-old "talent" can be filmed while performing intimate acts for Thirty Thousand Pesos (P30,000).

The husband, who was nabbed after NBI agents disguised as customers and gave him P15,000 marked money as partial payment, denied the allegation.

The suspect said they do not engage in such activity because they earn for a living as employees of an IT firm in Ortigas. The wife, on the other hand, cried blackmail that could cause her getting fired from her job.

Details on how to contact the woman can be seen on the website, based from the screengrabs obtained by the news outlet. Her nude photos were also found in the digital camera of her husband, the report said.

The husband will be charged with qualified human trafficking while the NBI has yet to determine if charges will be filed against his wife.

Violation of Republic Act (RA) 9208, or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, has a penalty of 15 to 20 years or life imprisonment and a fine ranging from P500,000 to P2 million.
