The LET exam results (teachers board exam) for August 2014 have been released by the PRC. View the full list of passers in alphabetical order!
On Monday, the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board for Professional Teachers announced that 25,301 elementary teachers out of 70,786 examinees (35.74%) and 26,767 secondary teachers out of 77,803 examinees (34.40%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers held last August 17, 2014 in Hong Kong and 24 testing centersall over the Philippines.
The PRC also said that of the 25,301 elementary teacher passers, 21,649 are first timers and 3,652 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 23,820 passers are first timers and 2,947 are repeaters.
Noralyn Sacoco, a graduate of the Data Center College of the Philippines in Laoag City, topped the exam in the elementary level with a rating of 89.40 percent, while Nixon Balandra of Philippine Normal University in Cadiz City placed first in the secondary level test with a 90.20% rating.
The regulatory commission added that the schedule of oathtaking of the new teachers will be announced later.
