According to a Bombo Radyo report, the incident took place at Agencia Brillantes Pawnshop along Osmeña Street in Koronadal City last Thursday, September 18, at around 12:38 PM.

Four unidentified armed men robbed the establishment and took away a still undetermined amount of jewelries. Two security guards were shot dead while four other persons were wounded.

The fatalities have been identified as Joan Lazaga of Antong, Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat, guard of said pawnshop who died due to gunshots in the head and chest, and Arlon Tamayo, security guard of Fitmart Mall and resident of Barangay GPS, who was shot in the neck.

Three injured victims, namely Alfredo Paguirigan, security guard at ACE centerpoint parking lot; Noel Villora, guard of Agencia Brillantes; and 14-year-old Sheryl Mae Galagar of Barangay San Isidro, received medical treatment and were already discharged from the hospital, while Mark Anthony dela Torre, was reportedly scheduled for x-ray at South Cotabato Provincial Hospital on Friday.

Authorities believe that the suspects are professionals as the crime committed was apparently "well planned and well executed." Based on the CCTv footage, police said the robbery happened within 1 minute and 32 seconds.

The city government of Koronadal has reportedly put up a P50,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest of the four suspects.
