The 18-year old suspect allegedly sells loot items on Facebook using a stolen name.

He reportedly hides his true identity and uses the name of Harlem Jude Ferolino, a broadcaster and freelance voice-over artist, in his illegal activities.

In a Facebook post, Ferolino said the alleged scammer and identity thief was nabbed at Plaza Heneral Santos last September 18 at 5:30 p.m. after a certain corporal Japet traced him to complain.

The suspect allegedly offered for sale a Canon DSLR camera but instead of giving the exact item, he handed over to the buyer-victim a Tupperware full of sand.

The army officer and Ferolino, together with the latter's colleagues in media and another complainant who allegedly lost a Samsung tablet, sought the assistance of Pendatun police for the suspect's capture.

The alleged scammer and identity thief is currently under investigation.
