According to Eden "Re-Born Eden" Battistello, the poor man is confined at Riverside Medical Hospital in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

Eden, a Filipina vacationer from Australia, has been seeking help and raising funds for passports and plane tickets for Hartigan and the kids.

Her recent Facebook posts:

  • Eden and Hartigan have been interviewed by ABS-CBN.
  • Eden says she already spoke with the Australian Consulate and DSWD.
  • She's been told by doctors that at least P60,000 is needed for Hartigan's stay in the hospital for 5 days.
  • As of 4 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, the funds being raised for Hartigan and kids increased to $2,561. The donation being asked is $8,000.
  • Hartigan's ex-wife Gina Depasucat has been posting photos of her with their sons, which complicates the story as it was reported earlier that she had already neglected them.

As of Tuesday, Eden said she has been authorized by the Australian Consulate in Manila to speak on behalf of Hartigan, saying inquiries of his well-being should be directed to her.

According to her, Australian Consulate/Embassy personnel and Hartigan's family in Australia can call direct to Riverside Medical Hospital at telephone number +63347050000 local 34775487.

Tracey Sinclair, Hartigan's daughter back in Australia, already found out about his dad. A source said she lost communication with him for 10 years.
