Talk Back and You’re Dead bigger than Diary Ng Panget

Talk Back and You’re Dead, the upcoming movie of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, will be bigger than the box-office hit Diary Ng Panget.

Why? It's because the silver screen adaptation of the popular Wattpad story written by Alesana Marie will be distributed under Star Cinema. Yes, TBYD producer VIVA has tied up with the country's largest film production outfit that produces most of the highest grossing Filipino films.

Star Cinema will definitely maximize all of its resources including multimedia platforms—radio, television, internet, and mobile—owned and managed by its parent company ABS-CBN, to promote the movie to ensure its success.

Not only that, Talk Back and You’re Dead is helmed by director Andoy Ranay, who is also known for directing When the Love is Gone, Diary Ng Panget, and the hit Kapuso primetime series Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.

The movie top bills two of today's fast-rising stars, James and Nadine, who will portray mature roles this time. According to Viva, the actor's character has similarities with Cross Sandford, but Nadine's will be entirely different. She plays a "sosyal", "mayaman" and "inglisera" character in TBYD.

The movie is reportedly in its final stages, yet JaDine already started to appear on Kapamilya shows. On Monday, July 7, the love team guested on the morning program Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG) to promote the Diary Ng Panget Concert. During the interview, they also talked about their upcoming movie.
