According to ANC via Yahoo! News Philippines, over fifty detainees have signed a petition for the transfer of the two actor-politicians to another detention facility.

The petitioners, led by CPP-NPA members Benito and Wilma Tiamzon, are complaining about the noise brought about by the media frenzy and the coming in and out of Revilla and Estrada's visitors even beyond the prescribed visiting hours. They also slammed the Estrada couple's celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary inside the secured compound.

The mere presence of the two senators, they said, caused disturbance to what is used to be a peaceful and quite environment, putting the effective management of the chief of the Custodial Center, superintendent Mario Malana, at risk.

Earlier this week, Malana was asked by PNP Chief director general Alan Purisima to explain why the visiting hours for Revilla and Estrada were extended over the weekend. The PNP announced Thursday, July 3, that he was relieved from his post.

Reports said Malana could be slapped with suspension from service for thirty days without pay and allowances if proven guilty of administrative charges.
