The Department of Foreign Affairs Regional Consular Office in Cagayan de Oro was formally declared “open for business” in partnership with Ayala Land Inc. during its inauguration on July 17.

The new RCO is located at the third floor of Centrio Mall, an integrated mixed-use complex composed of a shopping mall, a hotel, a BPO/office building and a condominium tower in the heart of Cagayan de Oro City.

DFA Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Wilfredo C. Santos and Operations Manager of Centrio Mall, Ms. Pamela Mendez, also attended the inauguration. Top local officials present during the event included Congressman Rufus Rodriguez of 2nd District Cagayan de Oro City and Governor Yevgeny Vicente (Bambi) Emano of Misamis Oriental.
