Inquirer.net reports that the incident occured around 10:50 p.m. inside the residence of the 19-year-old ABS-CBN recording artist.

Andrada called and invited his pal to come over. Tamonte showed up at the suspect's house along Felipe Street at Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, according to a report that reached the Southern Police District.

While having a conversation, Andrada suddenly drew a knife and stabbed the victim twice. The teen singer was able to stab his friend for the third time in the back after his father, who saw the attack, failed to stop him.

Tamonte, 17, still managed to go home despite sustaining stab wounds. He was later brought to the Ospital ng Makati for treatment. A report on ABS-CBN News says the victim is under stable condition as of Sunday, June 15.

The real motive of the attack is unknown and Andrada remains at large as of this posting. Police will charge him with frustrated homicide and serious physical injuries once Tamonte's parents give the legal action a go signal.

Major Reynaldo Gardoque, chief of the Makati police investigation section, revealed that the Andradas had allegedly asked the victim's family not to file a case against the singer, with a promise to pay all medical expenses.
