“Our tour here was so incredible that when I go back to LA and when we start doing, developing 7, 8, 9, I will tell Universal that I want to shoot in the Philippines. That is because of you,” Diesel said Wednesday at the premiere night of “Fast & Furious 6.”

“This is the best premiere I’ve ever been to in my life. As you know my sister-in-law is from the Philippines and she told me to say this: ‘Mahal ko kayo’,” Diesel told the crowd, according to ABS-CBN News.

If his plan pushes through, Philippines will become one of the international locations of the franchise.

Part three of the movie, “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” was set in Japan while “Fast Five” was shot in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In past interviews, Diesel mentioned Egypt and Greece as among the next possible locations.

“Fast & Furious” 7, 8 or 9? It doesn’t matter. The actor is so welcome to shoot the next installment in the country he described as “magical.”

“This really is a magical country. The people have been so warm with us and so loving us. I don’t think the world realizes how special the Philippines is. It really is special,” he reportedly said.

The news about Vin Diesel possibly filming “Fast & Furious” in the Philippines surely gives Filipino fans so much excitement!
