Kevin Garnett trade to Clippers in the works — report

An NBA trade rumor that says the Los Angeles Clippers are trying to acquire Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has been spreading in sportslandia over the weekend.

Reports said that the Clippers, who are aiming for a championship title this season, has offered Chris Paul’s back-up, point guard Eric Bledsoe (9 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists per game), and swingman Caron Butler (averages 9.8 points).

They can help the Celtics while Rajon Rondo and Jared Sullinger are out for the rest of the season due to injuries.

Sports analysts say this is a brilliant move for the Clippers, wrong move for the Celtics. Garnett is averaging 14.9 points and 7.3 rebounds. During his stint in Boston, he helped lead the Celtics win their first NBA championship since 1986.
