There is no storm or typhoon that exists within the Philippine Area of Responsibility, but a Shallow Low Pressure Area east of Northern Luzon and the Southwest Monsoon are affecting Luzon and Visayas. State weather bureau PAGASA reports that moderate to heavy rains is expected to occur over the western section of Luzon (Pangasinan, Zambales down south to Batangas and Mindoro including the National Capital Region) and Panay Island due to the southwest monsoon, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Light to moderate rains will continue to be experienced over the rest of Luzon, PAGASA added. Meanwhile, government has provided the following emergency hotlines:
