According to deputy presidential spokeswoman Abigail Valte, President Aquino’s SONA 2012 went through the fifth revision recently.
Valte said the president’s speech will highlight his administration’s key achievements on anti-corruption and anti-poverty programs in the past year as well as the government’s goals for the coming year.
President Aquino is expected to wear a new barong Tagalog made by designer Paul Cabral, Valte added.
Meanwhile, relative to the 2012 SONA, media organizations are preparing to cover Monday’s event. Some broadcast entities have already announced their provision of live videos and news updates as well as the setting up of facilities and webpages dedicated to President Aquino’s SONA.
