December 24, 2012 Holiday

The day prior to Christmas, December 24, 2012 (Monday), is a holiday in the Philippines.

Many did not notice, but Malacanang declared December 24 as a Special Non-Working Day through Proclamation No. 361, signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. last March 29.

Filipinos will have a four-day Christmas break this year: December 22 (Saturday), December 23 (Sunday), December 24 (Monday), and December 25 (Tuesday, Christmas Day) - a regular holiday throughout the country per Proclamation No. 295.

Now that you already know this information, are you planning to have a vacation trip with family or friends somewhere? Share your thoughts.
