Apple Inc. Introduces MacBook Pro With Retina Display (Video)

Apple Inc. on Monday introduced the next generation of the MacBook Pro. At the WWDC 2012, Paul Schiller announced what he calls the “most beautiful computer” the company ever made—the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display.

The new notebook is as thin as the MacBook Air, but weighs only 4lbs. It has a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and the screen has a 220 ppi at 2880 x 1800 resolution and with the GeForce GT 650m Nvidia Kepler GPU.

Apple reportedly claimed 7 hours battery life (up to 30 days in standby). The MacBook Pro sports the USB 3.0, Thunderbolt and HDMI and up to 768GB of flash storage.

The price? Basically, it will be sold at $2,199 for the 2.3GHz Core i7, 8GB of RAM and GeForce GT 650. According to TechCrunch.com, the price will increase to $3,749 once all the available options are selected.
