Update: Reports say that part 2 of the video can be viewed and downloaded online [read related story].
Reports say that the scandal video, which shows Janelle Manahan and Ram Revilla in their most private and intimate moment inside a shower room, was originally uploaded on Facebook by an unknown source.
It was deleted for violation of the social networking site’s terms of service. The video was later uploaded on YouTube, but was also quickly removed for the same reason.
A download link for the Ram Revilla - Janelle Manahan bathroom scandal video is still available on the web. However, we opted to impose self regulation and decided not to provide the direct link.
The full video lasts 1 minute and 37 seconds, reports say, and the late actor took the video himself.
Update: It has been noticed that the video file was taken down from the website where it used to be found. Netizens say that concerned individuals mull filing a case against the owner of the site which shared the video online.
According to ABS-CBN News, senator Bong Revilla, Ram’s half-brother, had asked the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to help identify and prosecute the perpetrators behind the online uploading of the sex video under the Anti-Voyeurism Law of 2009 (RA 9995).
Revilla reportedly said every person who downloads, copies and sends the video is guilty of violating the said law, regardless if they were the original uploaders.
