Through the BCS, reports said the NBI claimed it will be able to process and issue a clearance in just 3-4 minutes. Sweet, isn't it?
But the long lines of applicants waiting outside the NBI office remains a problem. Applicants complain that staying in line throughout the day greatly affects their day's work.
The NBI during a TV interview explained that while they are able to process around 6,000 clearances per day, the volume of new applicants has increased which translates to tens of thousands more who are not accomodated for a day.
Now, the bureau has reportedly thought of implementing an online system to cater application of NBI clearances and add more satellite processing centers across the country.
