YouTube Monetizes Mobile Site
YOUTUBE has rolled out a new feature which monetizes its mobile site and makes mobile advertising easier and more effective for advertisers. YouTube Mobile, who claims an increase in site traffic by over 160% in 2009, started to serve ads on Wednesday.
According to sources, it was Sony, with the DVD release of "District 9", as well as Kia among other ads ranging from beauty products to cars, which were first run on YouTube Mobile websites in America and Japan.
