ABS-CBN TV Patrol World has reported that Top Rank Promotions President Bob Arum planned March 13, 2010 as the Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight night.

We posted several days ago that the Pacquiao-Mayweather megabout could be on May 2, 2010 but insisted that said date is not possible due to the May 10, 2010 Philippine elections. Pacquiao is seeking election for congressman in Sarangani province in the Philippines.

Arum reportedly likes to schedule the Pacquiao-Mayweather match earlier so as not to disturb Manny during his campaign sorties. The campaign period for candidates for congressional, mayoralty and all local elective positions will start on March 26, 2010.
