At 4:00 p.m. today, the center of Typhoon "SANTI" (MIRINAE) was located based on satellite and surface data at 230 kms West Southwest of Metro Manila (13.8°N, 118.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is moving West at 20 kph.

- Public Storm Warning Signals elsewhere now lowered.
- Residents in low-lying areas and near mountain slopes under signal #1 are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures against flashfloods and landslides.
