Pacquiao wins fight vs Karaoke 'pirates'

After his victory over Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao won the first round of a fight anew. This time, it happened not in a boxing ring but in a court of law against alleged 'pirates'.

Earlier this week, an appellate court denied the petition to dismiss lawsuit of defendant Andres Sanchez, owner of G2K Corporation, who was accused together with daughter Maria Cristina Sanchez (In-A-Jiffy Enterprises) of using Pacquiao's name and image to sell Wow Magic Sing karaoke microphones. Both will stand trial for intellectual piracy.
