Lola Techie Bayan DSL Infomercials

Lola Techie, a grandmother who uses Facebook, Twitter and plays online games, is getting popular via YouTube. Her funny videos are actually infomercials of Bayan DSL broadband, an internet service provider in the Philippines.

My own mother likes her so much so I decided to make a little background check. Her channel on YouTube reveals that she is sixty six (66) years old and likes to chat, play on-line games, surf, blog, and upload videos. Lola Techie has six (6) children and sixteen (16) grandchildren.

Curious of what online game she's playing while shouting Flash Bang! Flash Bang!? It's a game called WarRock - an online game from Amped.ph. Both Bayan DSL and Amped.ph belong to broadcast giant ABS-CBN.

Such a brilliant marketing idea. It's like hitting two birds with one stone. Those who conceptualized the infomercial deserves a raise and a bonus! LOL!
