How to disable Yahoo Messenger Buzz!!!
Most of the time, the Buzz!!! sound of Yahoo Messenger isn't cute and kind of annoying to listen to. So here's a guide to disable, mute or turn it off.
- Open your Yahoo Messenger.
- Login with your Yahoo ID and Password.
- In the menu panel, go to Messenger > Preferences > Alerts and Sounds.
- Highlight 'A Messenger contact buzzes me'.
- Under 'Alert me by:', uncheck or unmark 'Playing a sound' to mute the Buzz!!! sound.
- Click Apply, OK and then close the Preferences window.
