YouTube watch out, The Video Bay is coming!
Ernesto at TorrentFreak posted an introductory article about The Video Bay, which he dubbed as "Pirate Bay’s YouTube Competitor."
According to Ernesto, "On The Video Bay, users can share video clips without having to worry about getting them taken offline due to copyright violations, true Pirate Bay-style." Woah! This is where this website will get much attention and supporters I suppose.
As clealy shown on their frontpage, TVB aims to use the new HTML5 features, more specificly the <video> and <audio> tags with the ogg/theora video and audio formats. This means that you have to use Firefox 3.5 Beta 4, Opera 9.52 Preview, Google Chrome 3, Safari 3.4 and Safari 4 to view videos there. Hmmmm.
Anyways, TVB is still on Beta (Extreme) so we still have to wait before the site becomes fully operation. We will keep you updated on this subject.
