How to disable Windows 7 User Account Control (UAC)

A simple guide to disable User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7.

Windows 7 UAC User Account Control (UAC) is a security system which aims to improve the security of Microsoft Windows 7 by limiting application softwares to standard user privileges. There are instances, however, that the UAC prevents the user to successfully run applications and play computer games so we are providing you now the procedure to disable it.

Disable User Account Control (UAC):
1. Click the Windows 7 Orb > Control Panel.
2. Select 'User Accounts and Family Safety'.
3. Click the line 'User Accounts' and then select 'Change User Account Control settings'.
4. In the new window, slide down to 'Never notify' and then click OK.
5. Restart computer.

To enable UAC (recommended), just follow steps 1 to 3 and then drag the slide up for your desired setting.
