Windows 7 RC download available

As expected, Microsoft has released the highly anticipated Windows 7 Release Candidate, which is now available for download to MSDN and TechNet subscribers.

New to the Windows 7 RC are advancements such as Remote Media Streaming, Windows XP Mode (beta) and the upcoming beta of the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. In addition, a number of enhancements were made to existing features based on feedback from beta testers, including Refined navigation, Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Touch.

The public beta of Windows 7 RC will be available on May 5th at the Microsoft Windows 7 website.
