Smartbro Share It wireless router
In an effort to capture more homebased wireless broadband internet subscribers, Smart Communications launched Smartbro Share It, the country’s first broadband device built to enable multiple computers in a common area, such as a house, to have affordable and simultaneous but wireless, high-speed internet access.

Smartbro Share It wireless router allows up to five computers to connect simultaneously to Smart's nationwide HSPA network. High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) is a protocol merge between High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA), a new technology that will give high-speed connection to wireless internet enabled mobile devices.
Smarbro Share It is available for P3,499 under a 12-month lock-in period. This includes the one-time payment of P2,500 for the router and the fee of P999 for the first month, which comes with 90 hours of internet access. The monthly subscription fee is P999.

Feedback
Smartbro has improved its services in terms of professionalizing further its customer service department and fulfilling its commitment to provide quality service and an improved wireless broadband speed as advertised.
Unlike before that negative feedback has tremendously grown against the said telco, we have not heard any complaint lately, on this blog at least.
With Share It emerging as another first (promising a speed of up to 2 mbps where HSPA is available) and the availability of cheaper desktop computers and laptops for family use, we hope that Smartbro will meet the increasing demands for affordable and "shareable" internet access.
