2009 Nurses Licensure Examinations Re-Scheduled

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has issued on 24 February 2009 PRC Resolution No. 2009-12, Series of 2009, re-scheduling the Year 2009 Nurses Licensure Examinations from June 7 and 8, 2009 to June 6-7, 2009 (Saturday and Sunday) and from November 28 and 29, 2009 to November 29-30, 2009 (Sunday and Monday).

PRC decided to re-schedule the nurses exams because the second day of the examination in June will fall on a Monday which happens to be the opening of classes for the School Year 2009-2010. PRC makes use of public and private schools as examination venues so there will be no available schools that can be used on that day.

The November exam was re-scheduled on November 29-30 since the second day falls on Bonifacio Day which was already declared a public holiday. For the complete provisions of the said Resolution, click here.
