Free and Legal Music Downloads
Do you want free and legal music downloads? Now, there is an internet service that offers to registered users free and legal music downloads from hugely known music labels. The service was relaunched following the signing of four major music companies as partners.

Qtrax (http://music.qtrax.com), a website which offers free and legal music downloads that are 100% paid for by advertisements, signed up with Universal Music Group, EMI Group Ltd., Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group Corporation. Products under these labels will be available, free and legal, to users who will register to the service.
How does it work?
Songs can be downloaded to your computer for transfer to a portable device such as smart cell phones and most MP3 players, but not yet with iPod players at least temporarily. You will need to download, install and then verify the Qtrax Player.
According to Yahoo!, who delivered the news via RSS in our Toolbar, the free songs "come with a digital rights management software, which prevents copying". "That technology will also count how many times each song is played. The artists and labels with the most-played songs will be rewarded with the highest payments from advertising money" the report read.
Users will have to reconnect portable devices every month to the service to continue listening. It's no hassle doing that considering the benefits; it is worth an effort.
