Friendster Mobile - useful, great new feature from Friendster
Friendster Mobile - it's the latest innovation from Friendster. Good they have come up with a new one. Otherwise Friendster will be left behind in the rising competition of social networks.
I am blogging about this new feature from Friendster as my own way of expressing gratitude. Honestly, more than twenty percent of my blog's traffic come from that side of the world wide web.
Initially, Friendster Mobile is now available in the Philippines via Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular. In fact, acquaintances and some close friends were already using this feature prior to my posting of this article. They did not have to go to the computer for updates. All they do is press the keypad of their cellphones and access Friendster at work, school, park, restaurant, at the bar or wherever they may be.

With Friendster Mobile, you can receive text alerts for:
- Friend requests
- Messages
- Comments
- Bulletins and more...
Or you can text Friendster to:
- Post a shoutout
- Approve friend requests
- Send messages
- Post a bulletin and more..
Here's a list of "text commands" or simply call it "codes" of the things you want to do:
- Register Mobile Phone, type REG FRIEND
- Block future confirmation requests , type STOP FRIEND
- To post a Shoutout, type SHOUT
- For help, type HELP
- To ask for help with text alerts, type HELP ALERTS
- To subscribe to Text Alerts:
- All, type YES
- Friend Requests, type FRNDREQ ON/IN/YES/OO/GO
- Messages, type MESSAGE ON/IN/YES/OO/GO
- Comments, type COMMENT ON/IN/YES/OO/GO
- Bulletins, type BULLETIN ON/IN/YES/OO/GO
- Birthday, type BDAY ON/IN/YES/OO/GO
- Horroscope, type HOROSCOPE ON/IN/YES/OO/GO
- Send to 2276.
