Vista-FiOS Internet Patch
I have seen this in a TMN thread and thought to share it so others on FiOS can also take advantage.
Important: This patch is for Vista users who are FiOS subscribers ONLY.
The story goes like this: The first uploader of this patch had a problem with his upload speed via FiOS. His connection was supposed to be 20/5 meaning 20mbps on downloads and 5mbps on uploads; he only got 1mbps for uploads - 4 megs slower than what he should get. He spoke with microsoft and one day microsoft emailed him a patch. He patched his Vista and upload speed went faster, closest to the advertised speed.

A reply in the thread reads: "What this patch does is change a few things in the registry...the main of which is turning off the learning stack." So, here we go.

Again, a reminder: This patch is for Vista users who are FiOS subscribers ONLY.
