Faster Internet: Use OpenDNS
My friends at testmy.net suggested that I use OpenDNS for faster internet. I tried it and benefited great results - faster webpage loading, faster downloading and uploading as well.
For those who would like to know how to use OpenDNS, here's how:
1. Go to Start Menu/Control Panel

1. Go to Start Menu/Control Panel
2. In the Control Panel window: go to Network and Internet Connections/Your LAN Connection

3. In your Lan Connection window: right click then go to Properties, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click Properties button

4. In the TCP/IP Properties window: click Use the following DNS Server address(Important: I have IP, subnet mask and default gateway but have them hidden for security reasons)
Put the values 208.67.222.222 in the box provided for Preferred DNS Server
Put the values 208.67.220.220 in the box provided for Alternate DNS Server
Put the values 208.67.222.222 in the box provided for Preferred DNS Server
Put the values 208.67.220.220 in the box provided for Alternate DNS Server

5. Hit Ok (TCP/IP window closes)
6. Hit Ok (Lan Properties window closes) and your done!
7. Reboot and enjoy faster internet.
